Investments in additional technologies, new products and process optimisation at BVT

We are building additional competencies and expanding our range of services as follows:

  1. Complex production of components with turning-milling technology. It is planned to equip the plant with robot handling as an innovative extension at the site.
  2. Laser coating as a future technology extension.
  3. External cylindrical grinding machine for complex production of larger dimensional ranges.
  4. Construction of a new production hall and the erection of a flying roof

Photovoltaic system at BVT

Photovoltaic systems will be installed on the roofs of Halls 1, 2 and 3. All 3 systems are designed as rooftop systems.

The electrical energy generated is primarily used for self-consumption, surplus energy is fed into the grid and reimbursed by the responsible electrical supply company. Due to the high power consumption, it can be assumed that the share of self-consumption is approx. 75%. 250,000 KWh of energy are generated annually, resulting in a saving of 96 tons of CO2 with the calculated self-consumption of 75% (187,500 KWh).

Modernisation of BVT's machinery

We are expanding our machine park with a CNC lathe with twelve driven tools, as well as a modern grinding machine with two diamond grinding wheels, with which our coatings can be processed in a higher quality. Furthermore, the purchase of a coating system for small to medium-sized components is also planned.

Capacity expansion at Maschinenbau Koller

At the Seebach site, we are expanding capacity by increasing production technology by means of a turning/milling center and a multitasking traveling column milling, turning and drilling center. These investments will enable new manufacturing capabilities and quality improvements to be achieved. The new facilities also require adaptation or expansion of the infrastructure at the site.
